【双语】口罩供不应求？电商平台确保口罩不涨价

据人民日报客户端报道，我国共确诊440例新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎病例，死亡9例。与此同时，有关口罩的话题引发广泛关注。

有网友表示，部分地方口罩卖光了。

1月21日，浙江一口罩生产商称，接到8千万只口罩的订单，但不敢接，因为工人都放假回家过春节了。公司正以3倍工资鼓励工人回来加班，尽量保证需求，目前已经叫回来了100多人。但是因为春节物流不方便，在年前拿到不太容易。

还有购买口罩自我预防的网友发现，一些电商平台销售的口罩明显涨价。生命安全和身体健康远重于短期利润，乘机涨价发疫情财，有悖道德。对此，相关部门也要加强监管和查处。

淘宝在其微博发表声明称，已向淘宝天猫平台上所有销售口罩的商家发出通知，绝不允许涨价销售。随后，饿了么也发布声明，坚决反对医用口罩等防护用品在这个关口涨价，并已按市场指导价对商户定价进行持续筛查，主动干预。

戴口罩是阻断呼吸道分泌物传播的有效手段，但要注意口罩应定期更换，不要戴反，更不要两面轮流戴。

市面上常见的几种口罩

▌保暖口罩  Cold-weather mask

常由几层棉布构成，内夹棉絮。这类口罩通常只具有保暖的作用，可以阻隔较大颗粒的灰尘，但对于可吸入颗粒物几乎没有防护作用。

▌医用外科口罩  Surgical mask

大多都为一次性使用，不需要清洗，使用也比较方便，同时，相较于民用口罩，对呼吸道疾病的防护作用更加明显。

▌活性炭口罩 Activated Carbon mask

活性炭口罩的活性炭层可增加对异味的滤除作用，但不能增加对颗粒物的防护效果。

▌防污染口罩 Anti-pollution mask

也可称为 pollution mask 和 respirator ['respəreitə]。指能够过滤空气中的颗粒物的口罩，如3M、Vogmask一类的N95型口罩。

▌时尚口罩 trendy mask

追求时尚、潮流美感的口罩，同时也可以作为保暖作用，但一般说来，此类口罩对疾病的防护是比较微弱的。

另外，mask在英语中不光只是口罩，还指面罩、面具，比如化装舞会上带的面具就叫做masquerade mask。

口罩常用表达

▌N95型口罩 N95 mask

也可以称为N95-certified masks，或masks rated N95。

95型口罩，是NIOSH（National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health，美国国家职业安全卫生研究所）认证的9种防颗粒物口罩中的一种。

►A mask rated N95 filters out more than 95% of particles larger than 0.3 microns.

达到N95等级的口罩可以滤除超过95%的直径大于0.3微米的颗粒物。

N99的意思就是可以滤除99%的直径大于0.3微米的颗粒物。

▌耳戴式口罩 earloop mask

▌头戴式口罩 headband mask

▌耳带、头带  strap

可调节长短的耳/头带是adjustable strap。

例句：

依据口罩型号的不同，带子可以挂在耳朵上，也可以箍在头上。

▌折叠式  foldable

例句：

►One of the great advantage for this model is to be foldable, so that you can always take one with you without it taking much space.

这个型号的口罩最大优点是可以折叠，有利于随身携带，而不占用太大空间。

▌可清洗 washable

例句：

►The mask is washable many times with no loss of filtration effectiveness.

这款口罩可以多次清洗，且不会损失过滤效果。

▌滤芯 filters

可更换滤芯是replaceable filter。

例句：

►The replaceable filter is a bit difficult to switch out, but it’s not a serious problem.

可更换滤芯换起来有些困难，不过问题不大。

▌随弃式 disposable

例句：

►Check out a variety of disposable respirators that help provide protection from particles, germs & gases.

快来看看各种款式的随弃式防护口罩，它们可以抵抗颗粒物、细菌和毒气。

▌一次性的 one-time-use

例句：

一次性口罩真的能起防护作用吗？

▌可调节金属鼻夹 metal nose clip

这个表述比较灵活，还可以说成metal nose bar、metal nose band、metal nose bridge等。

▌呼吸阀 exhaust valve / exhalation valve

例句：

►This model comes with an exhaust valve, which offers improved comfort, especially for those having difficulty to breath comfortably while wearing the masks.

这个型号的口罩带有呼吸阀，佩戴起来更舒适，对于那些戴着口罩呼吸不畅的人来说尤其如此。

判断口罩的功效

▌Comfort 舒适性

例如：

►These masks are usually very comfortable on the face. But their straps go behind the head and not around the ears, which is less practical for many users.这些口罩佩戴起来通常很舒服，但是带子是箍在头上，而不是耳戴式，所以对有些人来说不是很好用。

►This mask is usually very comfortable but the plastic edges can leave skin indentations which last longer than other softer masks.通常来讲，这种口罩佩戴起来很舒适，但是塑料边缘会在皮肤上留下印记，和其他柔软材料的口罩相比，印记消掉要花更长的时间。

▌Air leaking 密封性

▌Fog factor 眼镜是否起雾

例如：

 防雾霾的口罩并不能防住流感病毒 

市面上有各种各样的口罩售卖，年轻人都很喜欢购买佩戴有个性化色彩的口罩，但仔细一看，很多口罩都是棉布或化纤的，这种口罩可以保暖防雾霾，但对流感病毒并无防护作用，织物孔径过大，无法过滤病毒，还有人佩戴有呼气阀的口罩，误以为这种口罩保护性更好，其实，这也是防雾霾的口罩，不能挡住病毒。

预防流感，我们需要到药店购买医用外科口罩来预防流感，使用中必须要进行鼻夹塑型，并使口罩始终贴合鼻面部，必须要在使用中避免接触口罩外面（污染面），戴前、摘前后、接触外面（污染面）后要洗手，必须一次性使用，避免重复佩戴已使用过的口罩。

N95口罩对病毒的过滤作用等同于医用防护口罩但防护的级别更高，免疫力极低下者也可选择，免疫力低下者无口罩防护接触流感患者后48小时内需口服奥司他韦、帕拉米韦等进行暴露后预防。

正确佩戴口罩的方法

需要强调的是，外出回家后，记得洗手、洗鼻，如有发热和其他呼吸道感染症状，特别是持续发热不退，要及时就医。

说起肺炎，很多人都知道它的英文是pneumonia。但这次我们所说的“武汉肺炎”，并不是普通的pneumonia，而是novel coronavirus，新型冠状病毒，简写成nCoV。

熟词僻义

novel

 “novel”有“小说”的意思，但它还有个意思是指“新奇的”，在以前的经验里没遇到过的东西，所以“新型冠状病毒”的英文就是“novel coronavirus”，简称nCoV。

 为了避免传染这种病毒，一定要做好以下措施：

Wear masks outdoors

户外要戴口罩

Wearing a mask is one of the most effective ways to protect you from getting infected as the virus is predominantly spread in droplets.戴口罩是防止传染的最为有效措施之一，因为这种病毒主要靠飞沫传播。
Make sure to wear it properly so that your nose and mouth are both covered.口罩佩戴方式要正确，确保口鼻都要覆盖到。
If you're not feeling well or have symptoms such as cough, fever, fatigue and trouble breathing, a mask is also needed to prevent you from spreading germs to others.如果感觉不舒服，或者有咳嗽、发烧、疲乏以及呼吸困难等症状，你需要佩戴口罩以免把病菌传染给他人。
Medical masks used by medical workers are not recommended for common people as they may lead to oxygen deficient if worn for long periods.医护人员所使用的医用口罩不建议普通人使用，因为这种口罩长时间佩戴会有可能导致供氧不足。

Cover your coughs and sneeze with tissue

咳嗽和打喷嚏的时候用纸巾盖住

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or you can cough or sneeze into your sleeve, but avoid covering with your hands directly.咳嗽或打喷嚏的时候用纸巾盖住口鼻，或者用袖子捂住口鼻，不要直接用手捂住。

Wash your hands frequently and properly

经常洗手，正确洗手

Wash your hands with soap and running water thoroughly for at least 15 seconds, especially after:用肥皂和自来水彻底地清洗手部至少15秒，特别是在以下行为之后：
Touching trash or garbage触碰垃圾桶或垃圾
Contacting with animals or handling animal wastes接触动物或处理动物粪便

Strengthen your immune system and exercise regularly

增强免疫系统机能并定期锻炼

Exercise regularly is one of the most important ways to help you stay away from catching any infections.定期锻炼是帮助你不被传染病传染的最重要方法之一。

Make sure that shared spaces have good air flow and avoid going to crowded places such as hospitals, railway stations and airports.

确保共享空间有良好的空气流动，避免前往医院、火车站和机场等人流拥挤场合。

Seek prompt medical attention if you have symptoms of fever and respiratory infection.如果出现发烧和呼吸道感染症状，马上就医。
Avoid close contact with people who have flu or cold-like symptoms.避免与流感或感冒类似症状的人紧密接触。
Eat thoroughly cooked meat and eggs.肉和鸡蛋要完全做熟再吃。
Avoid contact with wild animals or farmed livestock without any protection.避免在无防护情况下接触野生动物或养殖禽畜。
